What do you think of Sarah's art style? Ah! I somehow missed this one. It's very true to the show. I think it's nice-looking.

Thanks. I think she has some sketches ready once she makes the halftime adjustments to them.

I've been wondering for ages: What's up with the flamingos and will that poor intern ever make it out of GJ's underground headquarters and back to his family?
Not that I've been wondering it continuously for ages, more that I wondered when I first read Freaky Fortunes and I seem to have a habit of bumping into the fic again, get lulled into a sense of perky Tara-fluff, and then am once again left wondering, "What's up with the flamingos and will that poor intern ever make it out of GJ headquarters and back to his family?"
Which is what happened today. I never see it coming, I'm always left wondering.

Which is what happened today. I never see it coming, I'm always left wondering. My goodness! Someone actually read that and cared? Cool! I originally wrote it up as a crack ship challenge on kp/. I then thought of an ACTUAL plot - one I still know all the details to - and figured I'd give a shot at writing it out. Of course, after posting the third chapter, my self-consciousness about writing things outside my normal stomping grounds popped up and I just kinda... Stopped. I was also floundering with writing Tara and how to start the next chapter. I'll give a shot rereading what I have and see if I can come up with a way to start the next chapter. I think I have an idea since you're so interested in the intern... Pull forward something I was gonna leave to the next chapter. But that next chapter doesn't matter if nothing gets posted, so... You pretty much just have to ask me about one fic or another and I'll start poking at them again. I tend to get distracted and wander off from a story if I get embarrassed or unsure if I can pull it off.

My goodness! Someone actually read that and cared? Cool! Short answer: Yup. Your characterization of post-Possible Lynn and Tara was great. That hooked me, so it left me interested in the rest Long answer: Normally I avoid reading unfinished work* because I've been burned too many times by "This is an awesome story I can't wait to see-- what? It just ... stops? Well maybe the author will finish it soon" *checks the dates* "I wonder if the author is even still alive." But the thing is: I like Tara, I liked her in canon, as underutilized as she was, and I generally like to see more of her. But finished Tara stories are such a rarity that I make an exception and will look for unfinished Tara stories and take what I can get. Which has led to me bumping into that one more than once. And it definitely left me wanting more. Every time. I never really paid much attention to who wrote it, and I was kind of surprised today when I realized you were the author after bumping into the story again and reading it again. That. Is. Awesome. I shall now resume using ordinary grammar. I kind of expected to be blown off, honestly. Not that you strike me as the sort of person who blows people off in general, but since the last update was over five and half years ago I'd have considered it a perfectly understandable response. I only asked because I had questions and this thread was beckoning for me to ask them. - * Which means, interestingly, that I wouldn't read any of my own fic if I weren't the one writing it because I tend to do big stories and I haven't really been at this long enough to finish a big story. (Every time I've tried to do a quick story for a contest or challenge my computer has failed. I'm never trying again after the most recent time.) If I went at a Nanowrimo pace sure, but that's not how I write. Not even in November. The way I keep from stalling out, when I manage it, is doing a lot of things at once so if I'm stuck on one thing there's always another I might make progress on. I imagine anyone following any of my stories doesn't like the pace that leaves me writing them at, but it's what kind of --sometimes-- works for me. "Kind of --sometimes" is the best I've managed to achieve so far.

The most hilarious part about 'So the Drama' is that I convinced my ~70 year old dad to watch it with me... When Eric said, "It is my mission to take you to prom.", my dad was just like "Oh, I get it now!" Literally explained Drakken's entire plot after that sentence. He had me pause it just so he could see if he got it right, and he did! Every little detail! *whistles* Impressive. Now see if he can figure out Hans is the bad guy. I mean, the big twist of Frozen was basically So the Drama in Scandanavia and without synthodrones...

"Kind of --sometimes" is the best I've managed to achieve so far. Goodness no! I only purposely 'blow off' people that have repeatedly offended me. I can count on one hand the number of people who I would just blow off. Don't take into account how long ago I updated something. I do fully intend to finish everything on my account... Save for Happy Funtime Land and Unconventional. The former was for blowing off steam, and I doubt I'll get frustrated with the fandom enough to write another chapter. As for Unconventional... Well, you don't want to see me try to write Rongo all on my own. Seriously. It's sad. I'm glad that kgs-wy likes teaming up with me to write stuff, or else the Maturation 'verse would never exist (not that we have most of the stories posted anyway...).

Are you available to be a beta writer?

Are you available to be a beta writer? Yes... I do caution using me as a beta, though. Nearly everyone that I beta for quits writing... Seriously. I think I'm too harsh with critiques and such. Make people feel bad even when I'm just trying to help.

Make people feel bad even when I'm just trying to help. For me, I don't care how harsh you are. And I think you probably do your best to make them better writers. Cause if you check out my stories. Very, very, and very bad grammar. I have really bad problem with. And I would you to be a beta writer I can turn to and ask for help. But if you can't I'm fine with that....

So... is that Korra and Kuvira with a snowman sweater in your Avatar? Nope. That's Drakken and Kim. It's cover art for one of the fanfics kgs-wy and I have posted. Kim has a haircut. ...is it really that hard to tell?
